5,000 L Tank & Gutters installed in 2021. Prior to this, there was no water access on site. The children would have to bring their water jugs and fill from a stream nearby. Unfortunately, during the dry season, this stream often dries up and there is no water for the students to collect. There is not currently a method in place for purifying the drinking water, and while the number of waterborne-disease complaints have been slightly reduced (from just the fresh rain water collected), they are still drinking contaminated water. The students and faculty ask us for some type of water purification system.
